Activity Director
About The Position
Harmony Utica Ridge is seeking an Activity Director to join its skilled nursing team. The Activity Director is responsible for residents’ emotional and social wellbeing by implementing and directing activity programs that address residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. The role oversees all aspects of the Activity Department, participates in resident care conferences, and develops new activity programs while keeping up with trends and industry standards. The position requires knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to help ensure residents are comfortable and safe.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Activity Aide and/or Activity Director experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- One year of experience in a director or managerial role.
- NCCAP Certification.
Responsibilities
- Implement and direct activity programs that meet residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
- Oversee all aspects of the Activity Department.
- Participate in resident care conferences.
