About The Position

Clearwater Mayo Blvd, a luxury senior living community in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an Activity Assistant. The role supports the planning and execution of programs and activities for residents. The assistant is expected to provide outstanding customer service, show genuine care and concern for residents, and demonstrate Clearwater Living’s principles and core values. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirements

Ability, licensure, and willingness to drive the community vehicle.
High school diploma or GED.
A minimum of two years of work experience in the industry, unless holding the preferred associate degree.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.
Must meet health requirements, including TB screening.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
First Aid Certification.
Health or Fitness Certification.

Responsibilities

Attend and assist with planned activities and special events, including setup, teardown, and decorating for holidays or special events.
Assist with surveying residents and making observations and recommendations to identify activities of interest.
Encourage residents to attend and participate in activities.
Assist with creating flyers, calendars, and newsletters, and updating social media websites as needed.
Assist with marketing events.
Work with volunteers, including scheduling, training, and organizing day-to-day assignments.
Assist with scheduling transportation or driving vehicles as needed.
Ensure regulatory compliance and immediately report issues or concerns.
Follow Clearwater Living standards and regulations to support safe and efficient community operations.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
Represent Clearwater Living’s principles and core values daily.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
