Activities Staff
About The Position
Activities Staff assist with activities that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs. The role supports activities within and outside the facility, provides in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events, helps create an ongoing activities calendar, and contributes to meeting state standards for activity scheduling and documentation. Activities Staff also solicit community involvement in planning facility activities and events. The position is at Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center, a 97-bed facility operated by Signature HealthCARE. Previous activities or healthcare experience and CNA certification are preferred but not required. The position requires skill in working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs.
- Assist in initiating and promoting activities within and outside the facility.
- Provide in-room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
- Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
- Meet state standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
- Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
