Activities Staff
About The Position
Bluegrass Care and Rehab Center is a 124-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The Activities Staff member assists with activities that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs. The role helps initiate and promote activities inside and outside the facility, provides in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events, assists with maintaining an ongoing activity calendar, and supports compliance with state standards for scheduling and documentation. The employee also solicits community involvement when planning facility activities and events. Previous activities or healthcare experience and CNA certification are preferred but not required. The position calls for skill in working with individuals with cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.
