Activities Staff
About The Position
Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 100-bed facility operated by Signature HealthCARE, a family-based healthcare company providing skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted and memory care, and home-based services. The Activities Staff member supports resident-centered care by helping meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs through activities and events. The role assists with activities within and outside the facility, provides in-room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events, helps create an ongoing activity calendar, and supports activity scheduling and documentation in accordance with state standards. The position also helps involve the community in facility activities and events. This is a full-time, eight-hour-per-day position, Monday through Friday. Previous activities or healthcare experience and CNA certification are preferred but not required. The listed salary range is USD $14.40–$16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs.
- Assist with initiating and promoting activities within and outside the facility.
- Provide in-room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
- Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
- Meet state standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
- Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
