Wildflower Court Activities Program Cooridnator - Full Time
About The Position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for an Activities Program Coordinator to join our Wildflower Court team! Wildflower Court is our Long-Term Care facility at Bartlett Regional Hospital. The Activities Program Coordinator acts as the Activities Director for Wildflower Court. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for coordinating, planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutically oriented activities for residents in Wildflower Court with the intent to enhance the resident's interests and preferences, and support their physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years OR is an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant OR has a certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional by a recognized accrediting body (Ex: NCTRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Workplace Violence Prevention Training within 90 days of hire.
- Completes an Activity Professional Certification within one year of hire (such as NCCAP).
Responsibilities
- Coordinating, planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutically oriented activities for residents in Wildflower Court.
- Enhancing resident's interests and preferences.
- Supporting resident's physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
