Director of Nursing - Wildflower Court
About The Position
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and coordination of nursing services within Wildflower Court facility. This position provides strategic and operational oversight in conjunction with the Administrator and CNO to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered care that complies with regulatory and professional standards of practice and facility policies. The DON establishes and maintains clinical programs that promote health, safety, dignity, and quality of life of residents while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous quality improvement, and person-centered care.
Requirements
- Current State of Alaska Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Five (5) years’ Registered Nursing experience
- Two (2) years of supervisory, management, or charge experience
- Master’s in Healthcare Administration and previous experience in specialty area
