About The Position

The Activities Director leads and implements programs that bring joy, connection, and purpose to residents. The role organizes and oversees activities aligned with Trilogy’s standards and residents’ well-being, requiring organizational skills, creative program planning, and a commitment to positively affecting seniors’ lives.

Requirements

• If providing transportation services: be at least 25 years old, pass a Motor Vehicle Record Search, and hold a valid driver’s license and any necessary transportation certifications.

Nice To Haves

• CTRS, ADC, ACC, or CDP credential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
• Certified Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy license.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in an Activities Director role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee Life Enrichment programs and activities aligned with residents’ needs and Trilogy service standards.
• Create staff schedules and support Life Enrichment Associates in completing tasks that meet residents’ needs and enhance daily life.
• Assess program effectiveness using feedback from residents, families, and the team, as well as survey results, and make improvements as needed.
• Address activity-related resident concerns promptly, within 24–48 hours.
• Develop and distribute newsletters, create social media posts, and promote upcoming events across multiple platforms.
• Recruit, screen, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers.
