About The Position
Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Assistant to help create enjoyable, meaningful experiences for residents. The role supports recreational programming, resident participation and social engagement, and resident well-being in coordination with the Activities Director and care team.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Dependable and organized.
- Able to work well with a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and facilitating recreational activities and programs.
- Encourage resident participation and social engagement.
- Support group and individual activities.
- Prepare activity areas and clean up after programs.
- Document resident participation.
- Work with the Activities Director and care team to support resident well-being.
