About The Position
Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is hiring a full-time Activities Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. This role is ideal for someone energetic, compassionate, and motivated to create meaningful daily experiences for our residents.
Requirements
- Experience working with elderly residents or patients preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable, compassionate, and engaging personality
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily recreational and social activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Support group and one-on-one programs
- Set up and clean up activity spaces
- Document participation and attendance
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team
