About The Position
Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to join our team in our skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will help create meaningful daily activities and provide hands-on support to residents while working closely with the Activities Director.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with elderly residents or patients preferred
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Compassionate and energetic personality
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily recreational and social activities for residents
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Help set up and clean up activity areas
- Provide hands-on involvement during scheduled programs
- Maintain activity participation records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary staff
