Activity Aide (C.N.A) - Skilled Nursing Facility
About The Position
The Activities Aide assists with planning, organizing, and facilitating meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in a long-term care facility. The role promotes resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life through activities suited to residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs. The Activities Aide works closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans. The position also assists with transporting residents and may include working as a C.N.A.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and active C.N.A. license in good standing in the state of Arkansas.
- Complete a state-approved nursing assistant training program.

Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
- Promote resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life through activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs.
- Work with the Activities Director and nursing staff to conduct activities safely and respectfully, following facility policies and resident care plans.
- Assist with transporting residents.
- May work as a C.N.A.
