Active Treatment Coordinators will provide instruction that is consistent with state/federal regulations which promotes growth and learning in self-care, dining, domestic, communication/socialization, money management, and functional academics for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. Assesses skills on an ongoing basis for an assigned caseload using various assessment tools and develops annual evaluations documented in EPIC for interdisciplinary teams. Conducts baseline assessments, monitors performance, and creates objective plans, educational activities, and instructional strategies to support learning and skill development. Analyzes instructional data, documents progress or regression in EPIC, and adjusts teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs. Provides training, modeling, and oversight to Educational Developmental Assistants (EDAs) and Direct Support staff on instructional objectives, data collection, and documentation requirements. Develops curriculum, educational activities, and schedules while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and revise habilitation plans, active treatment programs, and individual life plans. Designs supportive learning environments and oversees instructional service delivery to promote independence based on each learner’s strengths, needs, preferences, and learning style.
