Active Member Marketing Manager

Twin Health
•$125,000 - $140,000•Remote

About The Position

Twin Health is seeking its first Active Member Marketing Manager to build and own the strategy and execution of all proactive, non-clinically led communications for active Twin members. This role involves developing lifecycle programs through various channels such as email, SMS, in-app and push campaigns, and direct mail testing. The manager will design how these communications integrate with the existing care team relationships and product notification ecosystem. This is a hands-on, build-oriented role requiring strategic vision and execution capabilities, leveraging existing infrastructure like Braze and member data. The goal is to create a deliberate lifecycle program that enhances member engagement, retention, and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or engagement marketing, with significant experience owning programs end-to-end.
  • Hands-on Braze expertise, capable of building multi-branch Canvases with behavioral triggers, Liquid personalization, and suppression logic without engineering support.
  • Real multi-channel experience including email plus at least one of SMS, push, or in-app.
  • Demonstrated experimentation rigor, including designing tests with holdouts, understanding result limitations, and comfort reporting null results.
  • Comfort building and defining processes, as this program does not currently exist.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or digital health experience, with working fluency in HIPAA and PHI handling in marketing systems.
  • Direct experience in the point solution ecosystem (digital health, condition management, or benefits vendor distributed through employers, health plans, or health systems), understanding eligibility-driven populations, client communication approvals, and the difference between enrollment and active member marketing.
  • Experience marketing alongside a human care team or clinical staff.
  • Exposure to offline or physical channels (direct mail, print, or member webinars) and how to measure them.

Responsibilities

  • Map the member journey to build sustained engagement, winback for lapsed members, and define communication strategies for each stage.
  • Own the annual and quarterly engagement roadmap, defining stage involvement.
  • Build a segmentation model based on member behavior, sensor data, app engagement, care team interaction, clinical trajectory, and enrollment channels.
  • Govern the member communication calendar across marketing, care team, product, and clinical to ensure a coherent member experience.
  • Inventory and maintain a map of existing touchpoints.
  • Partner with Care Delivery and Clinical leadership to define the boundaries between marketing and clinical communications.
  • Design suppression, frequency capping, and quiet-hours logic across all channels to manage message volume.
  • Work with Product on campaign-based push and in-app messaging.
  • Ensure deployment accuracy by accounting for operational realities like eligibility files, employer/health plan rules, benefits calendars, co-branding constraints, and other vendor communications.
  • Build and ship campaigns end-to-end in Braze, including audience logic, Canvas and journey build, content, QA, launch, and iteration.
  • Write copy and creative briefs, and manage design, clinical, and legal review for timely campaign delivery.
  • Develop the Braze instance, including event taxonomy, Connected Content usage, template library, preference center, deliverability, sender reputation, and data contracts with Snowflake.
  • Establish a formal testing program for subject lines, creative, channel mix, cadence, timing, incentive structure, and a direct mail pilot.
  • Measure performance and build dashboards in partnership with Marketing Operations to showcase campaign efficacy.
  • Report results to Growth Marketing and leadership, including wins, losses, and adjustments.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, PHI handling, TCPA, consent management for SMS, CAN-SPAM, and internal clinical review.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
