About The Position

The Activation Coordinator is responsible for onboarding and activating new partner accounts, supporting revenue retention initiatives, and performing essential administrative functions to ensure a seamless partner experience. This role serves as a key point of contact between clients and internal teams, helping drive account success from activation through ongoing support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
  • 2-4 years sports and entertainment industry experience
  • Experience with CRM is preferred
  • Digital/Television media experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, effective follow-up and follow through required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn required business systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer service and retention
  • Able to interact with all levels of company and third-party employees
  • Basis knowledge of Photoshop is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Servicing – manage day-to-day account maintenance and fulfillment of partnership agreements.
  • Attend all LA Kings events that require a partnership activation representative to ensure proper activation support.
  • Fulfillment of all elements in accounts including promotions, grassroots events, broadcasts, signage, hospitality, etc.
  • Preparation of partnership recaps for teams, events and venues at the of the year/season in a timely manner.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Handle and deliver client hospitality requests with professionalism displayed at all times (i.e tickets for clients, game hosting, deliveries of materials to clients, meeting preparations, etc.).
  • Assist with filing and routing of contracts, invoices and creating contract memos and allocation sheets.
  • Handle internal paperwork, accounting, expenses, technology development and special projects as directed by Supervisor.
  • Coordinate internal communication between GP Sales on various action items.
