Acquisition Policy & Oversight Task Lead - Onsite, Washington, DC
About The Position
BluePath Labs is seeking an experienced Acquisition Policy & Oversight Task Lead to lead acquisition policy analysis, internal-review support, external-audit response support, and corrective-action recommendations for a federal client. The role directs specialist work in acquisition policy analysis and oversight support, identifies systemic issues, and coordinates proposed improvements with client leadership. The successful candidate will translate policy and oversight findings into practical improvements to acquisition processes and operational delivery. This position is contingent upon contract award. BluePath Labs is identifying qualified candidates for a proposal for an upcoming government contract; selected applicants may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded. The position is onsite in Washington, DC. U.S. citizenship is required. An active clearance is not required at application, but the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. TS/SCI eligibility or an active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in federal acquisition policy and strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Experience with compliance reviews, audit-response support, findings, and corrective actions.
- Ability to direct policy analysis and oversight support, review significant findings, translate policy and oversight findings into practical improvements, and coordinate systemic improvements with client leadership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- TS/SCI eligibility or an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Relevant bachelor's degree or permitted equivalent.
- Eight or more years in federal acquisition, including at least three years leading teams or workstreams.
Responsibilities
