About The Position

THE ROLE The Acquisition Onboarding Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth strategy by leading the financial integration of newly acquired entities into the Group’s operating and reporting framework. This role bridges the gap between transaction close and operational stabilization, ensuring a seamless transition to business-as-usual accounting, reporting, controls, and systems. The successful candidate will partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, HR, IT, and local business teams to deliver structured onboarding plans, strengthen financial controls, and enable timely and accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, group reporting, or financial transformation
  • Demonstrated experience integrating acquisitions into finance organizations and systems.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and consolidation environments (e.g., OneStream, SAP, Rome, Workday)
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS principles, internal controls, and financial reporting processes
  • Proven project management capability with the ability to manage multiple integrations simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and regions
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
  • Ability to travel internationally for extended durations is required

  • Fluent Bilingual and experience in Latin America are highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end accounting and finance onboarding process for newly acquired entities.
  • Develop and execute structured integration plans to ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations
  • Establish clear month-end close and forecast processes, reporting timelines, and accountability frameworks
  • Review and validate budgets by comparing local submissions against original CER assumptions, identifying FX, financial and operational variances
  • Coordinate with Finance Systems teams to integrate acquisitions into ERP, consolidation, and reporting platforms (e.g., OneStream, SAP, Rome)
  • Align financial data structures, including chart of accounts, reporting hierarchies, and master data governance
  • Standardize onboarding methodologies by developing integration playbooks, tools, templates, finance models and checklists
  • Lead the integration of SOX and internal control frameworks, ensuring newly acquired entities are effectively aligned with internal audit standards per US GAAP, understand control requirements, and adopt compliant processes.
  • Support process mapping initiatives related to new system implementations and financial transformation projects
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, HR, IT, and divisional finance teams to align integration timelines and deliverables
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to local finance teams, including training on reporting systems, policies, and procedures
  • Track integration progress and operational performance during the first 100 days post-acquisition
  • Prepare executive-level updates, ad-hoc financial analysis, and status reports on integration success and key risks
  • Support strategic finance initiatives and special projects as assigned by senior leadership.
