About The Position

The ACE Production Worker, described in the posting as a Utility Worker, primarily works in the outside production area of an AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility and processes 20-pound barbeque grill cylinders. The role includes sorting, inspecting, cleaning, painting, labeling, and refilling cylinders; maintaining quality and safety; and loading filled cylinders onto trucks for the next day’s shipments. The production area is not enclosed and may be affected by wind, rain, ice, and snow.

The position requires standing and walking for much of the workday and repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds. Workers perform general housekeeping and are expected to follow company processes and safety procedures, wear proper PPE, and work effectively as part of a production team. Candidates must be able to obtain required state licensing and forklift certification. The employer requires a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; employees may also be subject to substance abuse testing under company policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
