About The Position

The ACE Production Worker primarily works in the outside production area of an AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility, processing 20-pound barbeque grill cylinders. The role includes sorting, inspecting, cleaning, painting, labeling, and refilling cylinders; maintaining consistent product quality and a strong focus on safety; and loading filled cylinders onto trucks for the next day’s shipments. The production area is not enclosed, so the employee may be exposed to wind, rain, ice, and snow. The job requires standing and walking for much of the workday and repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions.
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team.
• Willingness to grow and learn.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk 8–12 hours per day; the posting also states the ability to stand 8–10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to obtain required state licensing.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and policies and to quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; successful applicants must pass the drug screen as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of manufacturing work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
