About The Position

Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a finance professional looking to grow their career and make a meaningful impact. Based in Eden Prairie, MN, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will lead collection efforts for a designated portfolio within the Accounts Receivable Shared Services team, which supports 36 businesses across the United States and Canada.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Four years related experience
Two years of supervisory experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Action oriented and results driven
Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

Responsibilities

Manage a team of direct reports
Be responsible for goal setting and performance management
Direct work in a way to ensure payment on time of open A/R, minimize past due A/R and maximize overall DSO performance
Interact with high level management staff at assigned businesses
Lead regular meetings with staff and assigned businesses on performance-related objectives
Raise awareness of management and leadership issues impacting overall A/R performance
Exercise significant independent judgment and discretion in making decisions that will have significant impact on internal/external customers
Coach and aid direct reports in their professional development
Conduct periodic site visits to review performance with business leadership
Participate in and is responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements used by management and executive leadership
