About The Position

Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor at their main office in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivable and collections operations, including team supervision, payment processing, and invoice troubleshooting, serving as the subject matter expert. Actively contribute to departmental functions such as report generation, new hire training, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and successful experience is required
  • 3 or more years of accounts receivable experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Practical understanding of ERP/Accounting Software required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable and Collections team, including timecard review and performance evaluations.
  • Produce departmental reports, offer necessary support, and contribute to new hire training and SOP implementation as needed.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation and application of chargebacks, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Create progress billing invoices for installations and conduct WIP reconciliations.
  • Support Accounts Receivable field operations staff for partner companies.
  • Maintain accurate payment records across various methods.
  • Audit receipts daily for accounting precision and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
