About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for managing incoming payments, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts to ensure timely and accurate revenue collection. This role oversees the full billing and collections cycle, helping minimize bad debt while maintaining strong client relationships and accurate financial records.

Requirements

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct or similar systems)

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices in alignment with accounting procedures and contract agreements.
  • Receive, log, and post incoming payments via check, ACH, wire transfer, and credit card transactions.
  • Match payments to corresponding invoices or sales orders to maintain an accurate and balanced accounts receivable ledger.
  • Monitor aging reports, identify overdue accounts, send payment reminders, and coordinate payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Support internal audits, generate reports, and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
