Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, organization, and communication skills.
- Intermediate/Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Experience with computerized accounting systems
Nice To Haves
- college degree/experience in similar role preferred
- PointClickCare preferred
- Familiarity with Managed Care, HMOs, and third‑party payers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Accurately post daily cash receipts from all sources and process insurance non‑payment remittances.
- Partner with Corporate Finance to resolve banking issues, including NSF checks, wire transfers, and deposit discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments and facility billing staff to obtain payment documentation and resolve ACH, adjustment, and payment‑portal inquiries.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations in Excel and ensure reporting accuracy in coordination with Corporate Finance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for cash‑receipt questions, providing timely and professional support to facilities and staff.
- Support Centralized Billing Office initiatives and provide backup coverage for Medicare/Medicaid payment posting.
