About The Position
Kids Dental Brands is seeking a detail-oriented bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Orthodontic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of claims, following up on delinquent accounts and rejected claims, and monitoring third-party payers for compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, and collaborative, with the ability to solve complex reimbursement issues and support timely account resolution.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in the dental field
- English and Spanish language proficiency

Responsibilities
- Responsible for correctly reading and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Manage both aging and denial queues for all assigned payer plans of low complexity
- Responsible for keeping supervisor and management informed of payer issues resulting in any delay of reimbursements
- Timely submission and follow-up of appeals and grievances
- Respond to patient and insurance inquiries in a timely manner and update accounts as necessary
- Manage insurance correspondence
- Participates in ongoing training for compliance, payer information, and insurance benefits to augment knowledge of procedures, regulations, and products
- Comply with performance standards and departmental goals
- Maintains HIPAA compliance
