About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including billing and invoicing for clients. This role requires a high level of accuracy in applying cash receipts and posting payments to customer accounts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
  • Experience using QuickBooks.
  • Strong experience with billing, invoicing, cash applications, collections, and reconciliations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in collections scenarios.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including billing and invoicing.
  • Generate and distribute accurate invoices in a timely manner.
  • Apply cash receipts and post payments to customer accounts with precision.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances through collections efforts via email or phone.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly accounted for.
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of customer accounts and payment activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and accounting to resolve client issues and improve processes.
