About The Position

AMRO Music is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Collector to join our credit & collections team. As an Accounts Receivable Collector at Amro Music Store, Inc, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding customer payments. Your focus will be on maintaining positive relationships with our customers while effectively managing overdue accounts and minimizing financial risks. Your contributions will directly impact our company's financial stability and growth.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams professionally and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address payment discrepancies and other issues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to accurately track payments, invoices, and communication records.
  • Ability to negotiate payment arrangements and effectively manage challenging customer interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a portfolio of accounts and meet collection targets.
  • A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage a portfolio of customer accounts, tracking outstanding invoices and payments.
  • Initiate contact with customers via phone, email, and text message to remind them of overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans if necessary.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices, billing, and payments.
  • Accurately record and allocate customer payments, ensuring they are properly applied to outstanding invoices.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all collection activities and communications with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales and Customer Service, to address customer concerns and facilitate smooth payment processes.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns empathetically, and maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with customers to establish payment plans when necessary, considering their financial circumstances while ensuring compliance with company policies.
