About The Position

Join the Duro-Last team, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope and the world’s largest manufacturer of custom-fabricated commercial roofing solutions. We’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry. Seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk who is self-starting and detail-oriented. This is a full-time position and is based at the Corporate headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan.

Requirements

Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
Ability to negotiate
Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

Post customer adjustments to the AR sub ledger.
Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
Assist with customer service items including waivers, invoices, statements and many other customer requests.
Assist with tax exemption verifications to ensure proper tax credits are executed.
Maintain records for the yearly audit for all cash postings (cash logs, payment copies, payment remits, etc).
Process customer credit card billings.
Process customer sales tax credits.
Assist A/P with posting vendor invoices.
