About The Position

Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivable Associate will perform a variety of accounts receivable, collecting, reconciliation, and general accounting functions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company.
• Ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Confidentiality and understanding of ethical standards of credit and collections.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree preferred.
• Additional consideration given for experience or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Generate accounts receivable aging reports.
• Clear accounts receivable credits.
• Prepare customer reports.
• Process down payments.
• Monitor the accounts receivable email inbox.
• Post daily credit card transactions.
• Send proforma invoices and invoices to customers.
• Conduct credit evaluations.
• Approve sales order release requests.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly reports, and other projects and analysis as assigned.
• Update procedural documentation/SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
