About The Position

As an Accounts Receivable Applications Specialist, you must possess an in-depth understanding of the various applications used by the AR department. The responsibilities include creating and maintaining the AR infrastructure, escalating departmental issues to the Finance Applications Management team, supporting the analysis and auditing of various AR functions to ensure the highest degree of accuracy and integrity possible. As a Accounts Receivable Applications Specialist, you may be required to support the AR department as needed. This role requires a physical presence at our Sherbrooke office. Contract until December 18, 2026.

Requirements

College Diploma in Accounting or relevant field experience
Accounting experience (5+ years)
French and English required, both spoken and written
Proven communication skills
Project management experience
Proven expert knowledge in accounting system and claims or other relevant system

Responsibilities

Develop new finance application knowledge and explore resources to maintain and update.
Support implementation of new software directly impacting the department.
Support AR team with client accounts, which may include regular invoicing, collection, application of cash receipts and periodic reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure proper configuration of finance set up for clients.
Ensure the accuracy of monthly Statement of Accounts pulled by department.
