Accounts Receivable Analyst - Non-Government

About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Analyst - Non-Government, also known as the Non-Government Account Analyst, operates under the direction of the Non-Government-Assistant Director. This role provides exposure to all aspects of PFS systems and operations, functioning as an advisor to the team and its leadership. The analyst will offer quantitative analytic support, problem-solving, and financial reporting as a seasoned professional. They will demonstrate strong subject matter knowledge and exercise judgment within defined policies, procedures, and management guidance to determine appropriate actions. The position involves direct interaction with PFS Leadership teams to proactively research, identify, communicate, and assist in resolving operational and Non-Government payor-related trends that impact Accounts Receivable (AR) and overall Revenue Cycle operations. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, a comprehensive understanding of all Revenue Cycle components, and knowledge of Non-Government payor billing regulations and reimbursement practices. The analyst will also complete complex projects of diverse scope or contribute to larger projects.

Requirements

Seasoned, experienced professional with solid subject matter knowledge.
Exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures, and management guidance.
Full understanding of all components of the Revenue Cycle.
Knowledge of Non-Government payor billing regulations and reimbursement practices.

Responsibilities

Provides quantitative analytic support, problem-solving, and financial reporting.
Interfaces directly with PFS Leadership teams to proactively research, identify, communicate, and aid in the resolution of operational and Non-Government payor related trends impacting Accounts Receivable (AR) and overall Revenue Cycle operations.
Completes complex projects of diverse scope and/or portions of large projects.
