About The Position

Patriot Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as an Accounts Payables and Receivables specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s payables and receivables processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable or a similar accounting role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred

Responsibilities

Manage and process accounts payable invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
Track and reconcile accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and collections
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for auditing purposes
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payment status and discrepancies
Prepare financial reports related to payables and receivables as needed
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
