About The Position

Our company is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven, and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Office Manager, this position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of vendor payments. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional internal and external customer service while supporting the dealership's accounting operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
Minimum of 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred but not required.
Experience with a Dealership Management System (DMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review all invoices and vouchers for accuracy and obtain appropriate approvals for payment.
Prepare and process accounts payable checks and electronic payments.
Post all open accounting items in the dealership management system (DMS) daily.
Generate accounts payable reports and maintain organized accounting files and records.
Reconcile vendor statements and general ledger accounts to ensure payments are accurate and consistent with dealership schedules.
Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions.
