About The Position

At FreezPak, our financial operations are the backbone of our success, and the Accounts Payable (AP) department plays a crucial role in keeping the system running efficiently. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced AP Specialist to join our team and contribute to the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. This role is vital to maintaining smooth financial operations, fostering strong relationships with our vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial principles, accounting, and bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Experience with accounting software and online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and enter invoices into the system, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices, and collaborate with vendors to address payment issues.
• Process and prepare payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any invoice-related concerns.
• Handle monthly reconciliation of company credit cards.
• Understand expense accounts, cost centers, and related compliance issues (e.g., sales tax).
