Requirements

1-3 years of accounts payable experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (e.g., Excel)
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

Sort, code, review and verify vendor invoices
Enter a high volume of invoices accurately into our accounts payable systems
Code payable invoices with proper expense accounts according to the chart of accounts
Identify exceptions when processing invoices (e.g. statements)
Reconcile vendor statements
Issue AP checks
Verify and issue 1099 statements at year end
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
