Requirements

• At least 5 years in a similar role or a related field.
• Minimum of a DEP; a DEC is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting software is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (also known as Microsoft Finance and Operations) is a valuable asset.
• Knowledge of the airline industry is a definite plus.
• Bilingual in French and English; proficiency in Inuktitut is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless matching of invoices and purchase orders for all received goods and services.
• Confirm that all transactions adhere to the company’s financial policies and standards.
• Efficiently prepare and code invoices for smooth data entry.
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries, fostering strong relationships.
• Keep vendor files up-to-date and organized for easy access.
• Conduct thorough monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly accruals to ensure accurate financial forecasting.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the department’s operational goals.
