About The Position

MM is a global leader in consumer packaging. The Group provides packaging solutions for cartonboard and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets and labels. MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products. We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable professional to support our Americas Shared Service Center. We are looking for someone who goes beyond transactional processing. The ideal candidate is technology-savy, embraces automations, identifies opportunities for improvement and actively contributes to growth and transformation of our Shared Service Center. The position may be located in any of the US sites: Indianapolis, IN, Clayton, NC, Greensboro, NC or Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proven Accounts Payable experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of AP processes (invoice, payments, reconciliations).
High attention to detail and accuracy with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Process and review vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) while performing 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receipt).
Ensure appropriate approvals and coding prior to posting invoices into the ERP systems.
Prepare weekly cash requirements and submit for approval as well as executing payments according to schedule and controls.
Maintain vendor management data (Tax ID forms, banking details, payment terms).
Monitor AP aging and follow-up on open items.
Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
