Accounts Payable Specialist
About The Position
Tucci Learning Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our office team in Marina, California. We are a mid-sized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company dedicated to improving the lives of young children and their families. Our office is made up of friendly, committed professionals who enjoy working together to support our clinical teams throughout California. This position plays an important role in the financial health of our organization. In addition to managing accounts payable functions, you will help prepare financial information and support our executive leadership team during financial meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience using QuickBooks Online, Google Suite
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare or human services
- Knowledge of nonprofit or service-based accounting
- Experience supporting executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable accurately and efficiently
- Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile invoices, statements, and expense reports
- Assist with month-end accounting tasks
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation
- Support executive leadership with financial meetings and information
- Collaborate with accounting and administrative staff to ensure accurate financial records
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed
