About The Position

Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Finance team at the administrative headquarters in the Alliance Airport area of Fort Worth, Texas. This is a full-time, hybrid position. The specialist manages the full vendor invoice cycle, including receiving, coding, verifying, processing, and reconciling invoices. The role works with vendors and purchase order requesters and receivers across the country to ensure invoices are accurate, approved, and paid on time.

Requirements

At least 2 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience in an electronic invoice routing environment.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel.
Strong, accurate data-entry skills and the ability to keep up in a high-volume environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Self-motivation and ability to manage work independently.
Positive, collaborative approach and ability to build good working relationships.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle NetSuite.

Responsibilities

Receive, review, and process vendor invoices from start to finish.
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
Determine which general ledger accounts expenses belong to.
Code invoices and verify that account distributions are correct.
Route incoming invoices to the appropriate requesters for approval through the electronic document routing system.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies quickly and accurately.
Respond to vendor questions professionally and in a timely manner.
Work with purchase order requesters and receivers nationwide to confirm details and obtain approvals.
Reconcile invoices and vendor accounts to maintain accurate records.
Assist with other department projects as needed.
