About The Position
The Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for processing Accounts Payable invoices and payments for a group of TV stations. Shared Services Accounting handles the accounting functions for all Gray-owned and operated TV stations.
Requirements
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- A working knowledge of accounting functions
- Excellent organization skills
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
- Scanning invoices into our automated Accounts Payable system
- Keying vendor invoice detail into the system
- Reviewing and reconciling vendor and invoice detail
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Processing and disbursement of payments
- Working with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies
- Responsible for individual assigned stations of your own
- Backing up other AP team members' stations
