We are currently recruiting an entry-level Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting and finance team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates who have taken accounting coursework and are looking to turn their classroom knowledge into hands-on professional experience. In this role, you'll support both accounts payable and accounts receivable while gaining exposure to invoicing, payments, account reconciliation, financial records, and day-to-day accounting operations. Previous professional accounting experience is not required. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, pays close attention to detail, and is excited to build a career in accounting or finance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Accounting coursework or degree preferred

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
Review invoices, purchase orders, payments, and supporting documentation for accuracy
Enter and maintain financial information within accounting systems
Assist with customer invoicing and monitor outstanding balances
Process vendor invoices and help ensure payments are completed on schedule
Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies when they arise
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding invoices and payment questions
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with month-end accounting activities and financial reporting as needed
Support the accounting team with additional projects and day-to-day financial operations
