The Role As an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist at Free Form Market, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of payables and receivables. You will manage invoicing, payments, and collections while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial workflows and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization.

Requirements

2–5+ years in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) and proficiency in Excel
Strong accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and client interactions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner
Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments
Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to ensure accuracy
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
Support cash flow management by tracking incoming and outgoing payments
Help ensure accurate coding of transactions in the general ledger
Identify opportunities to improve AP/AR processes for efficiency and accuracy
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Partner with accounting and operations teams to streamline workflows
Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools
