About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our client's Administration team supporting a well-established Australian automotive dealership group. This is a full-time remote position ideal for someone with strong accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring supplier payments are accurate and completed on time while supporting the wider administration team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience handling end-to-end Accounts Payable functions.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and appropriate home office setup.
  • Equipment is self-provided Computer: RAM: 8GB CPU/Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 (12th generation or newest) HDD/SDD: 512 GB Operating System: Windows 11 Home or Pro Accessories: Power Backup: Powestation, Powerbank, UPS, etc. Extra Display: Secondary/External Monitor Audio & Video: Noise-Cancelling Headset + Web Cam Internet: Internet Speed: 40-50 Mbps minimum badnwidth speed for both Download and Uploads.
  • BIR as you are a contractor (Required to submit any contributions required by the government.)
  • NBI or Police Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting an Australian business.
  • Experience in the automotive dealership industry.
  • Experience using dealership management systems (Pentana experience is highly regarded but not essential).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
  • Process supplier invoices, including matching and coding.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process payment runs accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and support the administration team as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
  • Liaise professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding account queries.
