About The Position

ATTC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Generalist to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while collaborating with both internal departments and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience.
  • Experience using IQMS, DELMIAWorks, or another ERP system.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger and vendor statements.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure payments are made according to terms.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports as assigned.
  • Record financial transactions accurately within the company's ERP system.
  • Respond professionally to questions from employees, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
