About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Two or more years of relevant experience or an associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Solid computer entry skills
• Solid attention to detail skills is required
• Solid Math skills
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
• Must have regular attendance

Nice To Haves

• associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• MS Office/Outlook experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coding and entering invoices into the general ledger, preparing payments, and filing paid invoice packets.
• Answering questions from peers and other departments.
• Assisting with the completion of the month-end closing in a timely manner by making sure all transactions in each month are entered into the system.
• Identifying transactions that do not comply with the company’s policies and escalating to the appropriate manager.
• Communicating with internal and external suppliers/customers
• Performing other general accounting duties, as assigned.
