About The Position

Forward Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join its accounting team. The role processes and pays invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Requirements

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Process and pay invoices accurately and on time.
Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
Code and post invoices to the general ledger accurately.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of vendor invoices and payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
Collaborate with accounting team members to support efficient and effective accounting processes.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
