We are hiring for a full-time, experienced Accounts Payable position. Are you passionate about accounting, customer service, and enjoy working independently within a small team? Requirements

  • Proven experience with accounts payable processes and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and reconciliation tasks
  • Experience in Excel, including creating and using formulas
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to conduct outbound and inbound customer calls professionally while maintaining appropriate phone etiquette
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
  • 1-2 years of Accounting experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PST in a resale environment is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Print, verify, and process invoices for payment accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized financial records using accounting software.
  • Data entry related to accounts payable and other financial activities.
  • Issue payments using various methods.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Support month-end closing procedures.
  • Provide support with general office administration, including accurate record keeping, filing, stationery and supply ordering, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment. Other tasks as needed to support the accounting team.
