About The Position

Central Florida Lincoln is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Ignite/Reynold and Reynolds experience is a HUGE PLUS.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Ignite/Reynold and Reynolds experience is a HUGE PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices for payment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Analyze accounts for payable transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions using automotive accounting software such as Ignite/Reynold and Reynolds.
• Assist in the preparation of tax-related documents and reports as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to address inquiries related to accounts payable.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
