About The Position

Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE) has a full-time opening for an Accounting Technician 3 working at the Administrative Office in Salem, Oregon. As an Accounting Technician 3, you will process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, process month-end journal entries, and have experience with invoicing and collections. A successful candidate will serve various internal and external stakeholders by providing outstanding customer service. OCE is focused on providing Adults in Custody (AICs) an opportunity to gain valuable and marketable work skills and on-the-job training to help these individuals increase their chances of success after incarceration. Our Mission, in partnership with the Department of Corrections, is to promote public safety by providing adults in custody with work and training opportunities in a self-sustaining organization.

Requirements

Three (3) years of Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable experience OR One (1) year of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience AND an Associate’s degree in Accounting
Pass an initial and annual Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) criminal background check screening.
Pass pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment.
