About The Position

Rose Financial Solutions (ROSE) is seeking self-driven accounting professionals interested in developing their accounting careers. This general-interest opening is for a potential future hiring opportunity. The role offers hands-on experience across finance, accounting, tax, and technology, with structured “learning by doing” and opportunities for long-term career growth. The Accounting Staff member will support ROSE clients across a range of accounting and finance activities, including purchasing, payables, payments, contracts, billing, cash receipts, payroll, human capital management, treasury, cash reconciliation, tax compliance, and small-business accounting. The role also includes support for time and expense systems and for clients and other stakeholders. This is a hybrid role based in North Bethesda, Maryland, with three to four days onsite after the introductory period. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a U.S.-accredited institution.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Ability to thrive while meeting challenging deadlines.
Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle purchasing, payables, and payments.
Support contracts, billing, and cash receipts.
Support payroll and human capital management, including time and expense system support.
Support treasury and cash reconciliation.
Provide tax compliance support.
Perform small-business accounting.
Provide client and stakeholder support.
