We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with strong experience using QuickBooks to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP
  • Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas a plus)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with Bill.com

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the general ledger in QuickBooks Online
  • Record daily financial transactions, including journal entries and adjustments
  • Perform bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with audit requests and external accountant inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
  • Other duties as assigned.
